Seriously! This fall I have had the most gloriously friendly, fun and easy families to photograph. I keep joking that I should make it look like I am working harder.
I knew photographing Kari and Matt would be a breeze. Six years ago I captured their wedding, with less than perfect weather, they were still a complete joy and breeze to photograph. It seems they passed that on!
Their little fella Nicholas charmed the socks of of me. He was full of charisma, sweetness and is a undeniable beauty!
It was so fabulous to catch up with them and get to meet Nicholas - he is one adorable fella!

This session was FUN!! Right from the get-go when I pulled up at their home there was a jovial, good humored mood. As we photographed, I realized that's how this crew rolls. Tara and husband Andre, and kids Brody, Nolan and Cabe, I am seriously a huge fan of your family. Thank you, for as we photographed, sharing your family's stories - you are full of inspiration, strength and lessons.
I continue to feel that a huge blessing of my job is getting to hear people's stories, and truthfully we all have a history full of challenges and celebrations. When I am photographing a family as warm as this, being able to soak up some of what they have to offer gives my life so much.
Laderoute family, you embody what family is all about, you are truly magical and like I said, super fun!

My lovely friend Trish radiated through her maternity session, which you can see HERE, and now she has a complete different glow - that of a new mama who is deeply in love. Trish and Jamie have been busy raising two adorable boys, and now, they have a girl to round out their beautiful family.
Serina seems to have just slid into their life as if she was always meant to be there. This little one has been blessed with a strong, loving family that loves to laugh - I am so looking forward to watching her grow and have her as part of my community.
Trish, photographing you, has been such a blessing, you are the epitome of a beautiful mama on so many different levels! xoxo

I loved this session. Loved, loved, loved.... I have the radest clients! This family is so relaxed together and in love with each other, it was so easy to capture this. It didn't hurt that they are all stunning! The bond between Angela and Alayna is so strong, it truly moved me as I thought about the relationship I hope to have with my daughter when she is older.

Sasha's parents have been intending to organize a photo session for her for sometime. So, while I was in Hawaii to photograph her sister's wedding, I was doing some location scouting for the wedding and found this place that left me totally inspired. The spot wouldn't work for the wedding, so I grabbed Sasha and we went out and created some images. Sasha has been waiting a long time for her session - and hopefully she feels it was worth the wait.
She was fabulous to photography, her humour, and comfort in front of the camera resulted in a session that just flowed. She obviously is made for this!
