I first photographed Karla, Brian and Zander two years ago, it was chilly, and damp and they, along with their extended family were rockstars.
This year, it poured!!! POURED! Their was talk of photographing them in the studio, however as the owners of Cona Hostel in downtown Courtenay and Cona Shuttle and Tours and as general outdoor enthusiasts, it just didn't seem right.
So we did a last minute reschedule based on an optimistic weather report for the next day.
Thankfully we were rewarded and we headed off to play in some fall leaves along with a wee bit of sunshine. This time of year I always leave time in my schedule for flexibility with the weather.

They are stellar people and to top it off they hang with the charismatic, gorgeous and adorable Zander.
