1. Imagination
In my imagination I am full of inspiration today, dishing it out, knocking people down with it, spewing so much inspiration that you can't read this post without feeling like creating, feeling and doing. However in my real life today, I am inspired to thank my slow cooker (which is going to make me look like a kitchen diva tonight, without having to do much,) and sneak around the internet admiring others imagination and creations.
2. Can I post something on my love list two weeks in a row? Damn right I can. Make it fast Cook it Slow is still rockin' mine and Christine's domestic world. See point number 1, and read last week's love list, then add to that the fact that I made a slow cooked pancake this week, slow cooker brownies and amazing slow cooked taco filling with some yummy local chicken. Tonight it is some chicken with 20 cloves of garlic and then slow cooker granola. Yah, I am totally geeking out on my slow cooker.
3. Tennielle from Firefly filled me in that one of my favorite local artists April Lacheur is now making necklaces and belt buckles.
4. Being Human
I stopped eating processed sugar in July and have been phenomenally good, shockingly actually. When halloween came I wasn't even tempted and even managed to sway my children into abandoning their candy. We cut it up and froze it for use in baking.
Last week I pulled it out to bake a friend in need some cookies, I used 2 cups of the candy, and ate about three. I felt like garbage and then I ate some more.
5. Mustaches for a reason
My friend Trevor is part of the MOvember MOvement, men growing mustaches to raise money for prostate cancer. Because I (thankfully,) can't grow a mustache I am going to curb my coffee out habit this month and use those funds to support Trevor. Remember, every bit of funds raised counts, even the smallest donation.

Come back soon, lots of photos to blog this week.

It's sad, I lent out my "make it fast, cook it slow" book, and I feel kind of lost. I will feel so much more complete when it's back in my hands. And yes, I will attest to the fact that you WERE phenomenally good with your sugar, crazy good. There is no way I could do it. I like sugar, sugar likes me. A lot.
