William + Maryn Comox Valley Photographer

Some children are just meant to be photographed - and quite often it is the shy, quite type, like Maryn.

These two offer up some serious beauty.

Sofia - Vancouver Island Baby Photographer

This cute shot of little Sophia just had to be blogged. She was photographed as part of our annual mini-session day. It was a special session as I photographed her parent's wedding two years ago and it was great to have their new addition in front of the camera. If you know her mom and dad, you will realize it is no surprise that Sophia is a stunner -

Coffee Update
September 22, 2009 // news
One of the valley's finest coffee joints is moving to some new digs. Rhodos is moving into the plaza on 8th Street that also houses Local's, The Insurance Center and Pharmsave.

Rhodos roasts their own beans and their coffee's is suberb. Their grand opening is tomorrow (Wed. September 23rd)

Owner Kellie is a former Chicks who Click, and and she is indulging her passion for photography by featuring local photographers work and displaying old cameras as part of her decor.

Tia and Shaun Comox Valley Wedding
September 21, 2009 // wedding
Tia and Shaun were a last minute addition to our summer schedule, a welcome addition. A week before their wedding they found themselves without a photographer. Tia's maid-of-honor  Darragh, put a 911 call in to me on the Monday before the Sunday wedding - saying no just wasn't an option, thankfully so, because we had such a good time with these two.
The wedding, held at Mt Washington Resort, had the drama of a good rain storm, but of course, this didn't damper Tia and Shaun's mood one bit. They rolled through some photos before their ceremony, and after their I do's while we shot a few family photos the sun came out for a quick hello. It was a wonderful day, which culminated in an incredibly fun and warm reception - I can't imagine Shaun and Tia in any other environment.
Congratulations Tia and Shaun, I am so glad we got to partake in your day - you are both stunning!

these are perfect. I love you Karen! I showed my mom these and she just couldn't belive it...even brought some tears to our eyes! You've really captured us and all the love we have for each other.....thank you endlessly for sweeping in and saving our day!
